Vybz Kartel did for Clarks what no marketing team could ever hope to achieve. Will the same be true for CAKE SOAP?! Vybz is now endorsing the skin-bleaching product 'Cake Soap' and Jamaica is in uproar. Vybz is taking his promotional duties so seriously that he now looks like the most terrifying man in Jamaica...
The backlash has seen his music banned from the Jamaican air-waves for the duration of Black History month, however, how it's affected Cake Soap sales...I've got no idea. Here's what Vybz has to say:
"I'm my own man, and as such I do my own thing. When black women stop straightening their hair and wearing wigs and weaves, when white women stop getting lip and butt injections and implants, when bald men stop getting hair transplants, and when people stop getting nose jobs and cosmetic surgery then I'll stop using the 'cake soap' and we'll all live naturally ever after."
